The Mayor Dinkins Cup is the largest free junior interscholastic tennis competition in the nation, with players from all over New York City representing public, parochial, and private schools. In 2023, we had more than 650 participants from schools in elementary, middle, and high school divisions representing all five boroughs and a total of 196 schools.
The Mayor Dinkins Cup is June 1 to June 9, 2024!

Entry Guidelines:
- All entrants MUST BE currently enrolled in a New York City School or be home schooled and live in New York City.
- All entrants must have a USTA membership or account. The account is free and must be obtained by a parent or a child who is at least 13 years old. To apply for a USTA account, go to playtennis.usta.com. *Please register for your USTA membership before registering for the NYJTL Mayor Dinkins’ Cup
- Students currently in grades 3-12 are eligible to compete.
- *ENTRY DEADLINE is May 24 at 6:00 PM.
